"A Night of Billiards"

Type: OC Pride Group Organized Event

Come Out For Pride
"A Night of Billiards"
Friday, Feb. 27 @ 7pm
Number of Attendees: 7

It has not yet been decided whether or not we will advertise group events on this blog, before they occur. However, events are advertised around the Penticton Campus. We cannot make any promises whether or not events are advertise at other campuses.

If you a student at another campus you are welcome to attend an event in Penticton; if you would like to join the group or help organize events for another campus please email us. There is no membership fee and we try to avoid cover charges, etc. but as a result attendees pay for their own participation, food, and drink prices. An example would be if the group goes to a movie all attendees would pay for their own attendance and whatever they would like to eat or/and drink on an individual bases.

For details on events please email us: glbt@myokanagan.blogspot.com. You can check out our Vision and Mission Statements on this blog (see left hand side of your screen).

Vision & Mission Statements

glbt@myokanagan.bc.ca

VISION: To create and maintain an on campus community for Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgendered (GLBT) persons at Okanagan College, while at first originating at the Penticton Campus (Winter 2009) and then eventually going college-wide.

MISSION: To organize and promote events that would be of primarily interest to and for GLBT persons (but not to the exclusion of the involvement of non-GLBT persons) at Okanagan College. These events may include awareness of GLBT issues (i.e., anti-homophobia, etc.), but most will be of a social nature (i.e., movies, dinners, etc.).

VISION & MISSION: It is the through the combination of the Vision and Mission statements that GLBT persons can be assisted in transitioning to campus life at Okanagan College.

Yes, there is a GLBT Group at the College. To attend any of our events you must either attend or know someone that attends any of the campuses of the College; in the later case the person must attend with you.
